New Orleans is a great city for pre or post cruise stays and a great, easy "home" port. A brand new secured, covered and lighted parking lot is available for easy access to the cruise terminal. Park and you never go outdoors again - right into the terminal! No taking buses back to the terminal or dropping off and then having to go park elsewhere! Starting May 15, 2010, the Carnival Elation will be moved to Mobile to replace the Fantasy continuing its same schedule and it is a sister ship (newer) to the Fantasy! The Elation will do several special itinerary 7 night cruises and also alternate 4 and 5 night cruises from Mobile.
There are NO 3 night cruises from this area - you'd need to fly into LAX, FLL, MIA, ORL, etc.
